Lions CREW

The Lions CREW (Creating Resources for Equity & Wellness) is a part of the Student Programs department. The Lions CREW provides events, activities, and resources for LWTech students that enrich our campus life and community.

The purpose of these events, activities, and resources are to

  • Connect students to our campus
  • Provide opportunities to meet and socialize with other students
  • Introduce students to new ideas and cultures
  • Support students’ interests, identities, and wellness
  • Contribute to students’ academic success

Each quarter these events are created by the Lions CREW, for their peers. We encourage all students to take advantage of campus activities.

Programs and Services

Every quarter the Lions CREW hosts a variety events that are open to all students.

Twice a quarter, the Lions CREW partners with Advising to host a New Student Orientation for incoming students. Throughout the quarter, the Lions CREW Ambassador mentors new students and supports their transition into LWTech. Students are also invited to attend virtual orientations, usually the week before the first day of class. Virtual orientation registration links are available on the college's web calendar. or the New Student Online Orientation.

The Lions CREW and the Associated Student Government support Student Clubs on campus. These enhance students' classroom training by bringing together peers who have common professional, educational, and social interests. Students can join existing clubs or start their own.

The Lions CREW Marketing Team provides graphic design and printing services to Student Clubs and campus departments, and manages all posting on campus.

Every year we hire current LWTech students to work on the Lions CREW to develop, implement, and support programming on campus. Positions open up in Spring quarter for the upcoming academic year.

The Lions CREW works with other departments on campus to support community partners who want to come to our campus to connect with students regarding employment opportunities, community resources, and more.

To request a table on campus to connect with students, complete the External Event Registration form.
