Citation/Reference Resources
Citations (references to other works in your research) are invaluable to both you
as the author and your audience/readers. This list contains links to resources to
help you properly cite your sources in APA, MLA, AMA, Chicago, and other styles. Below
you will also find tools for generating and managing your references and citations.
Please note that while many citation generators exist freely on the Internet, many
of them are out of date or have not been verified for their effectiveness and accuracy.

- ZoteroBib: free browser-based tool for creating works cited/reference pages quickly.

Plagiarism Resources
Plagiarism is defined by Merriam Webster as "The act of using another person's words or ideas without giving credit to that person." At LWTech, committing acts of plagiarism is a serious offense and can be a detriment to your status as a student and your enrollment with the college. The library is committed to ensuring students, faculty, and other members of the academic community at LWTech get the resources and support needed when dealing with plagiarism.
In addition to offering citation support and providing instructional sessions for academic courses, librarians have compiled a list of "plagiarism prevention" resources. This list is updated regularly with new resources.
