Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWTech) recently discovered that it was the victim of a data breach incident. With the privacy and security of our organization, its students, faculty, staff, and other community members who trust and rely on us as our priority, we took quick and thorough steps to secure our systems and activate additional cybersecurity protocols. The Learning Lab is an internationally certified program through the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) International Tutor Training Program Certification (ITTPC). CRLA has certified over 1,000 college tutor training programs since 1989 around the world.
CRLA tutor certification sets an international standard of skills and training for tutors. ITTPC does not certify tutors, only tutor training programs. Those programs in turn can certify tutors. LWTech TRIO/The Learning Lab received CRLA certification in 2008 and is re-certified until 2026.
