Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWTech) recently discovered that it was the victim of a data breach incident. With the privacy and security of our organization, its students, faculty, staff, and other community members who trust and rely on us as our priority, we took quick and thorough steps to secure our systems and activate additional cybersecurity protocols. The Innovation Lab is physically located in the East Building of the LWTech campus. As a maker space, the Innovation Lab seeks to manifest innovative ideas into tangible designs and prototypes. The Innovation Lab fosters a culture of exploration within an environment of freely flowing interdisciplinary associations. Innovative designs and technologies can emerge through a synergy of concrete, theoretical, and the predictive methods of research and development. Students and faculty are then empowered to be โsense-makers,โ approaching real-world issues through a creative process of both thinking and doing.
