With the privacy and security of our organization, its students, faculty, staff, and other community members who trust and rely on us as our priority, we took quick and thorough steps to secure our systems and activate additional cybersecurity protocols. Lake Washington Institute of Technology may grant a posthumous degree to recognize the academic achievement of a student who completed 75%, or more, of their degree requirements but passed away before graduating. Posthumous degrees may be requested by a college employee or immediate family member of the deceased student.
Please complete the Posthumous Degree Request Form to initiate the process. Return the completed form to us by delivering the form to the Enrollment Services office in W201, or by emailing the form to Vice President of Student Services, Ruby Hayden.
