The commencement ceremony is an ongoing tradition to celebrate your academic successes and accomplishments. Administrators, faculty, and staff all work hard to ensure this event is a memorable, special occasion for all graduates. We hope you will have a memorable experience at your commencement ceremony.

Timeline
Please use the dates outlined below to plan your attendance at the commencement ceremony.
January, 2023
- 2023 graduating class will be notified of the opportunity to attend the ceremony.
April, 2023
- Announcements available in the Bookstore.
- Caps and gowns available for purchase in the Bookstore.
- Ceremony registration open and available online. The link will go live at that point. Students are notified of their ability to attend the ceremony.
May 1, 2023

You must have applied for graduation through the application for degree or certificate online process.
June 1, 2023
- To have a seat secured at the ceremony graduates will complete the registration form.
- Graduates are eligible to pick up honor cords from Office of Student Life, East Building, E126.
June 14, 2023
- Final day to register for a seat at the ceremony.
June 16, 2023
- Commencement Ceremony, 2 p.m.

Students are expected to arrive at no later than 1:00 p.m. Students will arrive at the Center and check in on the fourth floor. Please note the following:
- In order to participate in the ceremony you must have your name card. That card will serve as your photography card, also.
Please note:
- Please make arrangements for the care of your children.
- Do not bring anything large that will interfere with your ability to walk in the processional and sit in seats.
- Please do not bring anything valuable with you to the ceremony. If possible, leave your belongings with friends or family. The center does not have any lockers for use.
