The Associate in Pre-Nursing DTA/MRP pathway offers a broad selection of academic courses that prepares students for upper division coursework leading to the Bachelor of Science, Nursing Degree (Entry-to-practice/basic BSN). Pre-nursing graduates are prepared to apply to BSN programs at various institutions across Washington state including the following baccalaureate institutions offering an entry-to-practice/basic BSN program and the community and technical colleges system: University of Washington, Seattle; Washington State University; Northwest University; Seattle University; Seattle Pacific University; Pacific Lutheran University; Walla Walla College, and the Washington State University Intercollegiate College of Nursing, a consortium whose members include Eastern Washington University, Gonzaga, and Whitworth. Associate degree transfers to WSU are admitted through WSU, not through the other consortium institutions. EWU participated in the development of this agreement.
Entry into Early Pre-Nursing DTA/MRP program requires completion of the general online application.
Additional Admission Considerations
Not Sure Where to Start?
Lake Washington Institute of Technology does not offer every course each quarter. It is the student's responsibility to consult the Class Schedule and work out an individual schedule with an advisor or counselor. Any developmental coursework a student might be required to complete may increase the program length.
