Math Education DTA/MRP
The Math Education DTA/MRP degree is designed to meet the minimum general education requirements to prepare students for teacher certification in secondary math at Central Washington University (CWU), Eastern Washington (EWU), Western Washington University (WWU), and Washington State University (WSU). This agreement meets all the requirements of Washington’s Direct Transfer Agreement.
All programs at LWTech provide students with workplace skills that include Communication, Critical Thinking, Global and Cultural Awareness, Teamwork, and Technical and Information Literacy. Each program will include coursework used to assess student performance in these global outcomes.
Lake Washington Institute of Technology does not offer every course each quarter. It is the student’s responsibility to consult the class schedule and work out an individual schedule with a counselor or advisor. Any developmental coursework a student may be required to complete may increase the program length.

Lake Washington Institute of Technology is proud of the many pathway options our students have to complete an Applied Bachelor’s degree, both at LWTech, and at in-state universities and colleges. All degrees, whether DTA/MRP, AAS-T or AAS, can fulfill transfer requirements at multiple institutions thanks to the articulation (transfer) agreements between LWTech and the transfer college.
