The Welding Introduction certificate exposes students to three major welding processes, the major cutting processes, and fundamental safety practices used in construction projects, manufacturing, industrial plants, and in maintenance industries. Students are prepared for a range of entry-level positions as welder apprentices, welders, welder fabricators, and welding fitters. Welding Introduction Certificate graduates can continue studying at LWTech to complete additional certificates or a Welding Technology Associate’s (AAS) degree.
