Certificate Information and Schedule
- Credits: 12 - 47 (support available)
- Start Dates: All Quarters (Evening and Saturdays)
We offer support in three Early Childhood Education certificates: State Early Childhood Education Initial Certificate, Certificate of Completion (12 credits), State Early Childhood Education, Short Certificate of Specialization - General, Certificate of Completion (20 credits), and the State Early Childhood Education Certificate, Certificate of Proficiency (47 credits). These certificates prepare students for various careers in Early Childhood Education or for promotions in Childcare Centers or Family Home Ownership. Students will learn how to prepare a safe and heathy environment for children to learn, grow, and play. Students can start the program any quarter to complete any or all of the certificates based on their career goals. Students completing I-BEST Early Childhood Education certificates can continue studying at LWTech to complete additional certificate levels or an Early Childhood Education Associate’s (AAS) degree.
