About LWTech
A Message from Lake Washington Institute of Technology President,
Dr. Amy Morrison.
Welcome to Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWTech), where you can find the degrees you want for the future you deserve. For more than 70 years, LWTech has prepared students to go into the workforce, ready to succeed in their careers.
As the only public institute of technology in the state of Washington, LWTech offers 11 applied bachelor’s degrees, 41 associate degrees, and 83 professional certificates in 41 areas of study, including STEM-focused programs in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. LWTech offers programs in:
- The School of Business
- The School of Design and Applied Arts
- The School of Education
- The School of Engineering and Manufacturing
- The School of Health Science
- The School of Information Technology
- The School of Transportation Technology
LWTech students have gone on to transfer to programs at MIT, RIT, Johns Hopkins, UW, and WSU, and have joined companies like Boeing, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and SpaceX.
As a student at LWTech you’ll receive wraparound support from our teams in Advising, Assessment, Counseling, Disability Services, Financial Aid, Enrollment Services, TRIO, Veteran’s Services, High School Programs, and WorkForce Development.
