We’re committed to all our students.
Lake Washington Technical College provides full support services to all students with disabilities in compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. If you need assistance, please contact the Student Services Center at least one month prior to registering for placement tests to schedule an appointment with a counselor and obtain a request for services form.
To reach the Disabled Student Services Coordinator, call (425) 739-8204, send a request by mail to the address above, or e-mail the Coordinator at leonard.aron@lwtc.edu.
Our college was designed to accommodate the needs of students with physical impairments. Floor levels in the elevators are marked in Braille signs. Entrances and exits are wide enough for standard wheelchairs. Electrically controlled doors are located at all entrances, and restrooms are equipped to accommodate individuals with disabilities.
The college also provides a campus map listing wheelchair ramps, entries and disability permit parking areas. Call (425) 739-8100 to request a copy or go to the campus map page to print or download a copy of the map.
Parking spaces are reserved near entrances for persons with disabilities, and ramp access is provided to buildings. For a disabled parking permit, call the state Department of Licensing, (360) 902-4060.
