The Business Office serves the financial needs of the college and helps to support overall operations by providing financial services to students, faculty and staff. Our office is committed to improving the conduct and methods of our business practices to assist and support students on a personal level. Students may pay tuition fees at the cashier's office. We strive to provide the best service possible and make your experience as smooth as possible.
Bank Mobile will be distributing financial aid refunds. When students receive their cards in the mail they need to make sure to activate them on-line by choosing a form of refund: MasterCard debit card with direct transfer to a BankMobile checking account, direct transfer to another bank account (3-5 day delay), or a paper check (5-8 day delay). Paper checks will be mailed, not distributed at the college. Refunds will begin distribution on the first day of the quarter.
Lake Washington Institute of Technology currently accepts Nelnet as the only established payment plan. There are no exceptions.
The 1098-T Opportunity Tax Credit forms will be mailed to students at the end of January. The information will also be available in the Student Toolbox by mid-January. For prior year 1098-T's please contact the Student Accounts. Please note that if your tuition was paid by grant, scholarship, or a 3rd party agency, a 1098-T will not be printed, but you will still be able to see and print you American Opportunity Tax Credit information.
